Chad Ely is an experienced Multimedia Director. At the age of 34, he became a key player in Dennis J. Kucinich’s 2004 Presidential campaign. He was named National Director of Media and given the responsibility of producing DVD’s and CD’s, photography, videography, audio and video commercials, web casts, graphic and web design, satellite broadcasts, media duplication and distribution to networks and affiliates, and many other communication endeavors for the candidate. |
Prior to that, he produced video promos and DVD’s for Ralph Nader. But that’s just part of the story…Before delving into the technical world of all things multimedia, Ely started as a young musician from a musical family. His prowess on guitar made him somewhat of a child prodigy and his love of blues made him a devotee of legendary blues men such as B.B. King, Robert Lockwood, and Glen Schwartz .

Little did he know that later in his life he would get to perform and/or produce projects with some of these men. While continuing to play music and record other local Cleveland bands at his home studio, Ely soon began branching out into designing graphics, shooting photos and video on those acts and others. Soon, he had gotten a reputation for someone who intrinsically knew what a project needed and was able to enthusiastically inject himself into it. Ely did all things passionately. |
| By the time Ely formed Dok Rok, Inc. in 1998, he’d gotten a reputation as someone who would totally immerse himself in a project. Several newspapers and television stations took notice. With a professional sound and video studio, Ely found himself producing hundreds of albums, TV programs, and Internet Web casts.In 2001, Chad Ely folded Dok Rok, Inc. and began ELY MULTIMEDIA. |

| Based at his Euclid, Ohio residence, the new company would retain all of the professionalism of his former business, but provide more mobile and off-site filming and recording opportunities. Ely specialized in broadcasting Internet Web casts and digital recordings for various clients. Providing live recordings and full video to accompany them became a much sought after service. |

| By this time, Chad Ely was becoming known for things other than musical. He’d done some independent films, cartoon animations for websites and radio commercials as well as a/v presentations and corporate work.To some, all of this diversity would be an encumbrance; Ely relished it. During a trip to Washington, D.C. in 2003 to process a video for Ralph Nader, Chad Ely met Rep. Dennis Kucinich’s people. |

| Soon after, Rep. Kucinich’s camp made Ely an offer to become their National Director of Multimedia. He accepted. In that position, Ely had to film, mix and provide video to all TV and radio affiliates, as needed. He also produced radio commercials for the Presidential hopeful and accompanied Rep. Kucinich on many of the Primaries. |

Ely also joined Congressman Kucinich in Boston for the 2004 National Democratic Convention. As an essential addition to the Kucinich campaign, Chad Ely widened the scope of his contacts considerably. From meeting and working with great artists and actors, he’s gained invaluable experience and forged new relationships. And although Rep. Dennis Kucinich has ended his Presidential bid, the Congressman retained Chad’s services.

| Then, one day while in a small twin-engine prop plane flying over New Mexico - inspiration struck. Chad invented a new way of broadcasting B-roll footage to the national networks and affiliates. Several patents were applied for and a communications company was formed... Digital Newsreel. |
